Spring has become
An uncontainable
Flood of color,
As though
The subterraneum
Attained saturation
With luminal liquids
That burst out in
Spurts of pink and white.
The trees of a field
Look like
Frozen fountains
Of floral color caught
In mid-trajectories.
The rivlets on the hillside,
Of one color and another,
Are a tumultuous cascade,
A pasteled parade
Of springtime splashes.
