Texted Images for the Web

It is often desirable to include text within an image. The following shows some java applets to do. First a simple one-line text. The colors for this applet are limited but a simple revision of code will allow for any color.

In this application the text is not imbedded into the image but simply painted over the image.

The next applet allows for two lines of text and the colors and font sizes can be chosen independently.

One line of text may chosen to be a darker, offset version of the other to create the effect of a shadow.

The following applet allows for input of text in unicode so that text in the scripts of other languages may be displayed. While unicode is available for virtually any script, browsers will only display a limited number of scripts.
